PRINCIPLE study update

The NIHR-supported PRINCIPLE study has found no beneficial effect from the antibiotics azithromycin and doxycycline in COVID-19 patients being treated at home.

Moderna vaccine becomes third COVID-19 vaccine approved by UK regulator

The UK has approved an Oxford-led COVID-19 vaccine

The Government has accepted the recommendation from the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) to authorise Oxford University/AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine.
