In 1973 a mental health practitioner would have to read 3 research papers per day to stay up to date on the latest high quality research. By 2013 that number rose to 249 papers per day.

The Voice of Dementia


The ‘Voice of Dementia’ is a moving film with moments of laughter, sadness and inspiration. It shows people with dementia talking about their lives, their diagnosis and the importance of being listened to. The film has been made to promote greater awareness of the need to involve and listen to people with dementia in making choices and decisions about their lives and the support and services that they want.
