New paper published following University of Leeds study

'Time4PallCare: Determining timely engagement with palliative care for patients with advanced cancer' aimed to establish the relationship between timing and intensity of specialist palliative care and a series of quality markers for end of life care.

A new paper has been published by the Time4PallCare study team: 'Is palliative care support associated with better quality end-of-life care indicators for patients with advanced cancer? A retrospective cohort study'.

Elderly Care resources

In October 2017 we held a research learning event about frailty, eFI and elderly care.

The event was chaired by Professor John Young, Professor of Elderly Care Medicine at the Leeds Institute of Health Sciences. Presentations were also given by Dr Andrew Clegg, Tony Jamieson, Professor Suzanne Richards and Professor Robbie Foy.
