Resources released to help improve care for people with diabetes & a learning disability

As part of the REasonable adjustments to MAINstream diabetes & obesity care for adults with a learning disability (REMAIN) project the REMAIN study team has worked alongside Diabetes UK to develop resources for commissioners and practitioners to raise awareness of health inequalities in patients with a learning disability and diabetes.

Research Capability Funding (RCF) call for applicants

This competition runs annually, organised by the West Yorkshire Research & Development team on behalf of the West Yorkshire Clinical Commissioning Groups. The competition is now live.

ASPIRE study team publishes new paper

18th February 2018

The Action to Support Practices Implementing Research Evidence (ASPIRE) study took place across West Yorkshire, with an aim to develop and test ways to support general practices in implementing evidence-based practice effectively and realistically within the constraints and challenges of real-life general practice.

A new paper has been published by the ASPIRE study team: 'To what extent can behaviour change techniques be identified within an adaptable implementation package for primary care? A prospective directed content analysis'.
